Hi Rachel! Where are we now?
- At home with me and my two daughters, 4 and 9 years old, in Södermalm Stockholm.
Everything you do has such an incredible sense of detail. How do you achieve that in a child’s room, really?
- Thank you so much! I think children should be able to keep out the things they find beautiful and like to play with, but I also believe you can help them create a more pleasant environment. The key is to build a harmonious foundation with plenty of storage. Here, the Portal shelf becomes a calm base where you can display the prettiest items and hide the chaos in stylish boxes. But of course, everything ends up on the floor sooner or later anyway, haha.

What’s your best tip for thriving at home during the darkest time of the year?
- Toss all the scattered stuff into baskets so it’s out of sight, light a rich-scented candle, buy a simple cut flower, make a cup of coffee. There you go!
